Follow along as I create a simple spread to plan for the next hectic week of our lives. All you need is a notebook, a pen, and optional markers or highlighters. We’ll start with a blank page, as one does.

First, divide the spread into 6 columns. I counted about 8 boxes per column. Don’t worry about it being perfect.

Label each column by day. I started with Monday (today), and went all the way to next Monday, which is Erev Yom Tov.
How did I fit 8 days into 6 columns? I combined Erev Yom Kippur and Motzei Yom Kippur in one, and did the same with Friday and Motzei Shabbos. For me, it works to combine those, but if you want a full column for each, simply continue this spread onto the next page. That will give you a lot more room to spread out.

Next, divide the page into 3 rows. Again, no need to make them perfect. It doesn’t matter if one is a little taller or shorter than the others.

Label each row with a category. I chose Meal Prep, Shopping, and Sukkah/Decor. You can swap out a category for something that suits your needs. You can also add another row if you feel that four categories would work better.

Now you have a neat grid with to keep your to-do lists in order. Hopefully this helps you see how much time you have to get things done and plan with more clarity.
