About

Hi, I'm Rena

I’m a surface pattern designer from Jackson, New Jersey. (Surface pattern design is a a type of graphic design/illustration.) (Basically, I draw lots of flowers.) I’ve enjoyed many creative hobbies over the years, including scrapbooking, journaling, creative writing, graphic design, hand-lettering, painting, drawing, and – most recently – sewing.

I started bullet journaling in 2020, thinking I would just try it out for a few months and see how it goes. It quickly became a part of my life and now I can’t imagine going without it. It is such a versatile and transformative planning tool, so I decided I had to share what I learned with other frum women!

I created Rena’s Nook with a dream of building a community of frum women and girls who would come together to learn and grow their skills. I firmly believe that both productivity and creativity are skills that can be learned and practiced, and I hope to make them more accessible. I have lots of ideas for more courses and tutorials on bullet journaling (and some other topics, too)!
