Which notebook should you choose for your bullet journal? Well, that depends on what you like in a notebook. Here is a list of many of the notebooks that I’ve used or come across over the last few years. Most of them can be purchased on Amazon, with one exception that can only be purchased in Michaels. The Molkeskine journal can be found in stores like Staples and Target, but I believe it’s cheaper when purchased online.

Bullet Journals Under $10
Ursunshine
This was the very first notebook that I’ve used!

Poluma
This was the second journal I tried, mainly because I liked the mint color. It is basically the same as the Ursunshine notebook, with different options for cover colors.

Artist Loft
I haven’t used this journal myself, but my mother does and I had a chance to check it out. At six inches across, it is slightly wider than the average journal. (I believe there is a slightly cheaper option that has thinner pages.)

This is the bullet journal that I am using currently (as of August 2022). It’s $24.99, but I’ve seen it discounted at $19.99.

Leuchtturm1917
I haven’t used this one, but it’s very popular. It thicker than any other notebook I’ve come across, with a whopping 251 pages.

I don’t know why all these notebook companies have such odd names, but there you have it. Don’t overthink your choice too much! Just pick the one that appeals to you and go for it!
